Director

Mr. Nolan is a founding director of Athabasca Minerals Inc., and has been involved in the gravel, transportation and construction business for over 35 years.

Mr. Nolan is past president of the Hopkins Group of Companies ("Hopkins"), a Lacombe, Alberta based company that incorporated in 1966. Hopkins develops gravel pits and performs custom crushing of aggregate. Hopkins has crushed for numerous counties and municipal districts throughout Alberta, and has provided services to Alberta Transportation for various road construction projects for over 50 years. Hopkins also supplies transportation services to deliver gravel and move oilfield equipment throughout Western Canada.

Mr. Nolan has served as director and president of the Alberta Sand and Gravel Association as well as director of the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association.

Dana Archibald joined Athabasca Minerals 3 years ago, as the Chief Operating Officer, and brought with him an extensive background in the Civil, Pipeline and Environmental sectors as well as a strong ability to lead multidiscipline teams to their highest potential.  He previously held positions at Dechant Construction, Shott Earthworks, Inc. and Enbridge Pipelines Inc.  Mr. Archibald was recently announced as the President of the Corporation's AMI Silica division and was instrumental in the acquisition and integration of the U.S. sand facility as well as the development of the Corporation's resources in the Duvernay and Montney regions.

Dana Archibald has also led the Corporation's Indigenous relations portfolio, successfully developing strong and impactful partnerships with multiple Indigenous groups. 

Mr. Archibald holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the University of Alberta, is a Registered Professional Forester, is Co-Chair of the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association Sub-Grading Committee and is a board member of LAT60 Explore.

Chief Financial Officer

David Churchill is a senior financial and accounting executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning multiple sectors, including oil & gas services, manufacturing & construction, maintenance & environmental services, and public practice.  Mr. Churchill was formerly the CFO for CEDA and Tarpon Energy Services respectively, Vice-President Financial Operations and Corproate Secretary for Anthem Properties Group, and senior manager at KPMG.

Mr. Churchill received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and his Chartered Accountant designation from the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants.  He has also completed the Directors Education Program and the advanced Executive Certificate in General management from the Queen's School of Business Executive Program.  David has received his ICD.D designation from the Institute of Coporate Directors and sits on the Board of the Hull Child and Family Foundation, serving as the Board Chair.
